2012 Annual Meeting
At the beginning of every year the entire Gran Habano Cigar family sits down as a company to discuss the year ahead of us. The most exciting aspect of our 2012 meeting was the fact that we got to hold it in the now completed Gran Habano Miami factory on Calle Ocho (8th St.). This was the first time anyone has had the ability to see what was created after a year and a half of hard work.
The first order of business was to discuss the brand new factory as we are ready to open to the public. It was determined that our current production will be limited to no more than 1,000 cigars a day to maintain a high level of quality and consistency. All of the products used will either by new (never before used in our current production) or sourced from others to ensure that we give you something new and unique. Cigars produced in Miami will also be unique in size when compared to our current product offerings. Our grand opening was also scheduled for February in conjunction with Guillermo Rico’s birthday. More details on everything I briefly mentioned will be released shortly.
I just want to mention a few quick notes about our cigars: The Gran Reserva 2008 is quickly dwindling down in our inventory. For this particular cigar the Gran Reserva 2009 will soon be made available to the public as its replacement. All STK cigars from this point on will now be produced in the Miami factory. There will be an unveiling of a brand new cigar that the entire cigar market has yet to see and some of our current products will be updated. Again, more specific information will be made available in due time.
