Factory & Farms

“The Rico Family strives for quality in every leaf and cigar in production. We look forward to the future with optimism and a great sense of appreciation for those who have come to know us and our brand.”

Gran Habano is a vertically integrated, family-owned and operated business with a rich history of aging tobacco passed down by generations of skilled cigar makers. Our agricultural operations are based in the renowned Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua, with farms in Santander, Colombia and San Isidro de General Valley, Costa Rica. Our manufacturing facilities in Danlí, Honduras, consist of fermentation warehouses, selection, manufacturing rooms, and a box factory. Here you will find the people who painstakingly make every cigar by hand with love and passion for their trade. In our factory we strive to produce some of the best and most sought-after handmade cigars in the world, with well-aged tobaccos that give out rich complex flavors found in all our family blends. From our agricultural operations and manufacturing facilities to our distribution center in Doral, Florida, we oversee every process along the way, embedding our family tradition into every cigar we make. We hope that every cigar connoisseur will find a fulfilling experience from any of our handmade cigars.
