Gran Habano Announces Persian King Omega Omega, Its First All-Honduran Cigar

For the first time in its history, Gran Habano will release a cigar made entirely of Honduran tobacco.

The Gran Habano Persian King Omega Omega is a 6 x 54 toro that uses a habano wrapper over a corojo binder and corojo, criollo and habano fillers, which the company says were grown during the 2023/2024 crop on the Rico family’s farms in Honduras. The cigars are made at the family’s G.R. Tabacaleras Unidas S.A. factory in Honduras.

Each cigar will have an MSRP of $8.96 per cigar and production is limited to 2,000 boxes of 50.

Gran Habano says it created the cigar “for those who appreciate a balance of strength and refinement.” While it is branded under the company’s Persian King label and described as a slightly stronger blend, the Omega Omega does not share the same Nicaraguan-focused blend or the same aesthetic as the Persian King cigars. Like the previous Persian King cigars, Omega Omega will be sold in a 50-count box, but the other Persian King cigars are sold without bands, meaning this is the first time a cigar in the line will have a band.

Gran Habano will show off the Persian King Omega Omega to retailers during the 2026 PCA Convention & Trade Show, which takes place April 18-20 in New Orleans, and ship the cigar to stores in June.
