Gran Habano Cigars has announced the release of the Corojo #7 Corona Especial, a limited-production extension of its established Corojo #7 blend.
The new Corona Especial measures 7 x 46 and is packaged in a traditional petaca-style cardboard box containing 10 cigars. The format emphasizes portability while maintaining a presentation style commonly associated with classic cigar packaging.
Production for the Corojo #7 Corona Especial is capped at 2,000 cigars. The suggested retail price is set at $15.60 per cigar, or $156 per box.
The Corojo #7 blend has previously received industry recognition, including a ranking of No. 2 for Overall Best Cigar from Honduras by Cigars Lover Magazine in 2025, along with a 93 rating. The Corona Especial size is intended to highlight the blend’s profile in a longer, slimmer format.
“With the Corojo #7 Corona Especial, we wanted to offer aficionados a size that truly showcases the depth and complexity of this award-winning blend,” the company stated. “Its limited nature and proven pedigree make it a standout release for 2025.”
Availability will be limited due to the small production run, with retailers encouraged to secure allocations early.
